The Pink Patsy Mural
at the Crocodile Café, Muswell Hill
A bare, mossy brick wall at the Crocodile Café in Muswell Hill has been transformed into a bright Pink Patsy world. Painted by hand by Margaret, the illustrator of the Pink Patsy books, and the Pink Patsy team, the mural is full of colour: Pink Patsy gazing up at a rainbow, Tiger the Cat, smiling daisies, a sunshine face and, of course, a grinning crocodile!

From bare wall to rainbow

Behind the scenes

Pots of paint, lots of brushes and a copy of Pink Patsy and the Rainbow on the table to keep everyone inspired. The mural brings the very first Pink Patsy story to life on the wall: Pink Patsy sitting among the daisies, looking up at the rainbow, just like on the cover of the book.
Margaret has painted every Pink Patsy picture by hand, and this is her biggest canvas yet! Meet the illustrator to see her painting the next Pink Patsy book.
Come and see it!
